At Clearwater Bay School, we maintain a close, collaborative relationship with our parents and strongly encourage all families to participate in the life of our school community.
Parents play a crucial role in enriching the educational experience at CWBS through various contributions, whether by volunteering in classrooms, sharing their expertise as guest speakers, or supporting field trips. The school council actively involves parents, staff, and community members in the school improvement process, ensuring every voice is heard. The PTA Committee drives community cohesion, with events such as bingo nights becoming a highlight of the social calendar, and cultural celebrations such as Mid Autumn festival also being recognised and enjoyed by the community. Through participation in events, parents significantly enhance the school community and foster a vibrant environment for students and their families.
We also invite parents to attend class assemblies, learning journeys, and parent-teacher conferences held throughout the school year. These events provide opportunities for parents to learn more about, and contribute to, their child's learning journey.
