Last week, Clearwater Bay School hosted the ESF Primary Chinese Battle of the Books, welcoming participants from Shatin Junior School, Glenealy School, and Quarry Bay School. It was a closely contested event, and our team triumphed on the final question. This victory has earned us a place in the finals held at Singapore International School next week, where we will compete against other international schools in Hong Kong. We look forward to representing our school in this upcoming challenge.

Today's event was a vibrant celebration of creativity, with students and staff donning an incredible variety of costumes inspired by their favorite literary characters. The effort and imagination that went into each outfit were remarkable, transforming our school into a colorful tapestry of stories. It was a delightful finale to a week filled with literary joy!
Book Week continued this week with our "Cuddle Up and Read" event, writing workshops with Rachel Ip and storytelling sessions by staff and parents in their mother tongues. It's been a wonderfully busy and enriching week!
Book Week has officially begun! This week is packed with a variety of activities, including author visits, a secondhand book sale, a book fair, and much more. Throughout the week, our students, serving as language ambassadors, are introducing over 20 languages to fellow students and staff.
Classroom doors are transforming into vibrant displays of books, and our book adventurers are on a mission to discover all the passionate readers around the school.

The students explored different materials in the forest and used them to build a den. They enjoyed being out in nature and had a great time working as a team.
