The Kowloon Kids Conference was a remarkable success, held at Clearwater Bay School. We were excited to host students and teachers from Beacon Hill School, Bradbury School, and Renaissance College. We welcomed Prof Kam Tim Woo (HKUST), who gave us an exciting insight into the world of sustainable energy through the lens of innovation and positive attitude. Students were given the opportunity to exhibit their own creations with EdTech which included coded adventure games, 3D printing, robotics, laser cutting and animation to name a few.

What a busy Term 2 we’ve had, filled with exciting activities both in and out of school! Year 1 set up their very own shop, selling grass wheat grown by the students to CWBS staff, while Year 2 welcomed some special visitors, including a hedgehog, a scorpion, and snakes. Year 3 explored the M+ museum and experienced the fascinating Picasso exhibition, and Year 4 participated in a Chinese community walk in Hang Hau. Year 5 took a trip to Causeway Bay to learn all about advertising, and Year 6 is hard at work preparing for their end-of-year exhibition, taking meaningful action aligned with their Sustainable Development Goals and passions.

These are just a few highlights among many more memorable moments! We hope everyone enjoys a nice and relaxing holiday, and that all our students return well-rested and ready for another busy term full of learning, creativity, and fun!
